Spinning Day

Today, I shall be mostly spinning wool!

Today, I shall be spending the day with this lady - Hilary (as seen on Kirsty Allsopp's Homemade House). We shall be sorting a new fleece, carding or combing the fleece, spinning the fleece and producing a yarn, plying to produce a yarn suitable for knitting, and an introduction to natural dyeing.

I'm really looking forward to my day and will be posting here about the experience.
