Perfect weather for ...

Lots of time outside

 


and collecting the wonderful fully flowering, knock out fragrant Elderflowers. Cordial or Champagne making anyone?

    Our elderflower is just starting to open. I reckon we should get our first batch of cordial this weekend. I cannot wait. (little dance of joy!)

    I love elderflower cordial, although the elderflowers we saw on our walk the other day were still in bud so I'll have to make sure I don't miss them again. It really is a taste of summer.

    I was waiting for you to say when you had started with the elderflowers! I am definatly going to make some cordial this weekend and the champagne i cant wait to try again. need it to be much more alcoholic tho!!
