I acquired a lovely bargain Westbury spinning wheel last year, she has sat a little neglected for a while but yesterday had a good clean and a drink if danish oil - good for feeding the wood. Now she is looking beautiful and spinning like a dream. A little noisier than my other wheels but a happy flock member.

Feeding the wood
Odd title? Couldn't think of another!
I acquired a lovely bargain Westbury spinning wheel last year, she has sat a little neglected for a while but yesterday had a good clean and a drink if danish oil - good for feeding the wood. Now she is looking beautiful and spinning like a dream. A little noisier than my other wheels but a happy flock member.

My Louet and Wee Peggy asked for a drink too so today I have obliged and given them a lovely coat of oil too.
