We spent a lovely morning wandering this beach, not too far from home. It had been a while since we'd been but I think it will be a regular walk in the future.

We spent our time enjoying the sunshine, listening to the waves, looking out to all the sailing boats (
Cowes week on the
IOW next week), watching the many birds in the Haven, plopping stones/shells and seaweed into the sea; and collecting shells (of which there was no short supply!) for future craft ideas. Blissful. It reminds me why I have always wanted to live by the coast.
